“We want to create something new.”
Unraveled Artist Interview:
Q: Why did you make this song? What does it mean to you?
A: It means having to create a support system around you, and an infrastructure to keep yourself afloat from the mess. Fighting to keep something good alive. You’ve made it this far, let’s make the most of it now.
Q: What do you want listeners to understand from this creation?
A: That there is never a point at which to give up. You don’t have to be who people expect you to be. Deep stuff, man.
Q: How can people support you further?
A: We may be setting up a ‘pledge’ soon to help fund our new single, but in the mean time, just support us online with a standard, infamous ‘like’ on Facebook, and go on to our Bandcamp to buy our other music (physical copy or download) if you like what you hear! Just generally spread the word! Come to our gigs! Much love.
Q: What is your ultimate vision for your work?
A: Just continuing to grow (and work with) our fanbase. We love our fans and we just want to make them proud. We love playing festivals and local gigs, so if we can keep reaching people with our music live, we’ll be happy bunnies.
Q: Do you consider your music to fall within a genre(s)?
A: DON’T LABEL US, MAN!! But seriously, if we had to choose just one – Mathpop, we reckon. Harmonious, rhythmic, angular, jazzy. We just got a new toy (an SPD pad) so we’re playing with a few more electronic elements currently. WATCH THIS SPACE.
