“I am here to play music and ride the Ocean’s energy.”

Unraveled Artist Interview:

Q: Why did you make this song? What does it mean to you?
A: Upsidedownbackwards started as a hook I heard in my brain, then morphed into a song wrapped around an epigram from the late, great Oscar Wilde that goes something like this: “I can resist everything except temptation.”

Q: What do you want listeners to understand from this creation?
A: Take what you may from it … I think most of us have faced temptations at one time or another … I’m an over-sharer so there you go!

Q: How can people support you further?
A: Give original music a chance and open your ears and your hearts to something a little different… yet familiar… and of course supporting us by coming out to our live shows (we tour frequently through California, New Zealand and Australia) purchasing our musical works/merchandise and spreading the word if you dig it!! Visit for more info!

Q: What is your ultimate vision for your work?
A: That’s a tough one… my vision can be a bit blurry at times!! Creating something special that strikes home with the listeners/audience is the ultimate goal I suppose… Communicating on a spiritual, emotional, intellectual level with the good people that lend us their ear… And getting the party started of course!

Q: Do you consider your music to fall within a genre(s)?
A: Bluesy folk and way beyond.
