“Do I need a reason to exist?!”
Unraveled Artist Interview:
Q: Why did you make this song? What does it mean to you?
A: I wrote the song just after I came back from an education abroad program at the University of California, Berkeley. I was really interested in the culture of homeless kids around the area and how they were living outside of society. So the song is sort of about a potential alternate world which begins with darkness (metaphorically or literally), and anarchy. Most of my songs have social and political elements, but also elements of love, relationships, and self-reflection.
Q: What do you want listeners to understand from this creation?
A: Whatever they want!
Q: How can people support you further?
A: Following me online would be great! Social media is a great way to let fans and friends know what is happening with my music e.g. upcoming shows, releases etc.
Q: What is your ultimate vision for your work?
A: I want to get my music to as many people as possible.
Q: Do you consider your music to fall within a genre(s)?
A: Dark indie country noir dreamfolk.
