Post Apocalyptic Sex Rock • Brooklyn, NY, USA •
“We found this deeper, harder place that seemed to unleash something.”
Unraveled Artist Interview:
Q: Why did you make this song? What does it mean to you?
A: This song originally started as a song about Karen missing our friend, and original drummer. We started changing the lyrics to be about something broader and deeper and it kind of took on a life of it’s own.
Q: What do you want listeners to understand from this creation?
A: The message is about doing what you love, even when the people you rely on change their minds. But any interpretation of the song that moves the listener is a success to me!
Q: How can people support you further?
A: What we really want is more people following what we do. Check out our website – bugsinthedark.com, like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter and Instagram. We just want to be able to reach out to larger groups. Also, if you are a record label with tons of money and no strings attached we’re into that too.
Q: What is your ultimate vision for your work?
A: Really we’d want to be able to make a living on what we love. We love exploring and evolving our music and we love to perform.
Q: Do you consider your music to fall within a genre(s)?
A: We’ve been referred to as post-apocalyptic sex rock. We’re good with that.
